Women Empowerment---3

All of us want harmony in life at home as well as at place of work .An atmosphere of peace, happiness, love n understanding is of utmost important for the smooth functioning of any institution n flowering of life n its potentialities.
Family n marriage are two most powerful institutions which have served as the backbone of Indian society   and stood the test of times. All through the ages it has been the spiritual and ethical values of women in the family as mother, sister and wife which have  nurtured  and nourished these institutions and have been a source of strength and inspiration to menfolk. It is this inner strength, which has sustained women through unjust and discriminatory conditions that cropped in the society with time, that has saved the institutions to fall apart. But this has certainly created disharmony within these institutions as well as in the society .The maladies afflicting the system have to weeded out.Women empowered with spiritual n ethical values combined with education and economic independence can certainly play far more constructive role n bring back harmony in society. Both, men n women, have to understand the need of the times and find solutions through mutual interaction and agreement on all issues.
The main cause of  trouble these days is the misconception of the educated employed women that they are not supposed to look after   home n children;on the other hand men take it for granted that it is the duty of women. The conflict is bound to affect the loving relationship n cause friction. The solutions have to be found amicably as looking after  home n children is very demanding and calls for sacrifice, unconditional love, willing diligence n selfless support by both. Both need to understand that their roles are going to be more challenging and should be prepared to face the same happily as it is this sharing which is going to strength the bonds of love.
Marriage is a very sacred  relationship ,u have to transcend all physical n material considerations and be  spiritually connected to respect each others' individuality for a life long relationship.

`FAMILY` which is the base of society and whose back bone is woman,is shaking in the present time.I still feel that the most strongest and calm person in any family is the lady, who actually can make or break the family.we mothers r forgetting or lacking in our duty to socially educate our daughters and sons.God has given more tolerance and sacrificing nature to woman and made her mother and gave more physical strength to man to protect them. But in the race of proving equal to men we r forgetting our basic role of producing able humans .i am totally and 100% in favor of equal n educated society-but the respective roles have to be respected.
I have read number of books of literature in Punjabi about our olden times .Ladies were generally respected ,their views were considered though the final decision was left to the old man (or person) No ritual was complete without ladies participation.Even yug ,Havan or any other religious ceremony could not be performed without female participation.
The basic need of human is roti kapda our makan.Roti and kapda is in the hands of women and makan is also run by her.Man eats what the woman wants him to eat .So who holds more important position?to my mind it is woman.
The main responsibility of the society rests on woman. An educated mother who realizes her role and tells her daughter and son to adjust and respect his/her counterpart in life can contribute a lot to create balance in society.Otherwise the time is not far when like western society there will only be individualism.Only self will be important.
